Bizzie is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information.

1. Who We Are

Christian Mitchell, trading as Bizzie ("Bizzie", "we", "us", "our"), ABN 65 118 791 649, operates the online business marketplace at getbizzie.com.au. Our primary contact for privacy matters is legal@getbizzie.com.au.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

2.2 Information collected automatically

2.3 Information from accounting software you connect

If you choose to verify your listing's financials, you can connect an accounting provider — currently Xero or Intuit QuickBooks. This is entirely optional. Listings work without it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

We will only send you marketing communications with your consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your personal information with:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase's Singapore region. Bizzie itself runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, which handles each request in whichever data centre is nearest the visitor; no personal information is retained there.

Several of our service providers operate outside Australia. Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery) and Google (maps and analytics) process data in the United States and elsewhere. If you connect accounting software, Xero or Intuit handle that request on their own infrastructure. This means your personal information is stored and handled outside Australia, including in Singapore and the United States.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

The Platform may contain links to third party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
